J&K Coaches Limited partnership with Queens’ Camogs continues to flourish.

Queens GAA is delighted that J&K Coaches limited have decided to continue it’s sponsorship of the Queen’s Camogie Club for the 2023/2024 season.  J&K Coaches Limited were the clubs main sponsors last year, a very successful season which saw four camogs awarded a “Blue,” the highest sporting honour within the University.

Welcoming the news, Gavan Duffy, Queen’s GAA Development Officer said:

“It has been a pleasure to have the support of Jim Quinn and his team at J&K Coaches as Official Travel Partners.  They have provided a first class service for our teams who travel the length and breadth of Ireland to take part in their sport.  The generous sponsorship which we receive from J&K Coaches is a vital element in ensuring the sustainability of the club.  It’s also great to be working with a company who share our love of Gaelic Games.”

This year has seen a huge surge in the numbers of students joining Queen’s Camogie Club which reflects the increasing popularity of the sport across Ireland.  The Camogie Association estimates that there are in excess of 100,000 playing members in the country.  Camogie and Hurling both have UNESCO status and are on the Representative List of the Intangible Culture of Humanity.
